We built Micro Journal to be private by design.
Micro Journal ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Hez Global.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Micro Journal you agree to this policy.
Your journals, photos, videos and plans are stored only on your device — we do not have a server that receives or stores your journal content, and we cannot read it.

If you enable biometric unlock, authentication is performed entirely by Apple's on-device system. The App never receives, stores, or has access to your facial or fingerprint data.
When you add media to your private vault, you select it through Apple's system photo picker. The media is copied into the App's private, on-device storage. We do not access your wider photo library or upload your media anywhere.
With your permission, the App schedules local notifications and reminders on your device. These are generated locally and are not sent through our servers.
The App uses the TikTok Business SDK to measure advertising performance and aggregate app usage.
With your permission, this may collect device identifiers (IDFA), app event data, and limited device information. This data is processed by TikTok as an independent third party.
View TikTok Privacy PolicyThe App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking identifier is used. You may decline at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Content you create is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Advertising data handled by TikTok follows their retention policies.
We use reasonable technical measures including storing your vault secret in the device Keychain in hashed form and keeping journal content in protected on-device storage.
